Great food is only half the job. Customers also have to find you, and that’s hard when your truck moves. TruckAround aims to put your truck on the map for hungry people nearby, people making plans, your regulars, and anyone looking to book a truck.

How TruckAround helps you

Be found now

Check in when you start serving, and your truck will appear on the TruckAround map for hungry people nearby. They’ll see that you’re open and exactly where you are, right when they’re deciding what to eat.

Our goal is to drive at least one more customer per day to you and to every other food truck in the US.

Be found later

Eventually we plan to invite you to upload your planned schedule of days, times, and locations. People planning ahead will be able to discover that your truck will be near where they will be when they are going to be there.

Be followed

Your regular customers will be able to find your truck when they want your food. Every time you move, they’ll be able to move with you.

Be hired

In the future we plan to offer a booking service for catering. People planning parties, office lunches, weddings, and community events will be able to book you for their food.

What will it cost?

We don’t know yet! What we do know is that we only succeed if you succeed, so we are motivated to keep pricing affordable. If we don’t give you more value than you pay us, you’ll leave us. If you ever feel we aren’t giving you good value for your money, contact us and we will make it right.

What about contracts?

We have to earn your business every single month. You will be able to cancel any time for any reason. We only ask that you give us the chance to offer you what you need to stay with us. TruckAround works best for all the vendors and diners in an area when there are more of both, so we will do what we can to keep you happy and on board.

How will customers discover the service?

1. QR codes on trucks. Vendors will be able to display a TruckAround QR code on their truck. When a customer scans it, your TruckAround vendor profile will open, introducing them to the service and letting them store you as a favorite. A rising tide lifts all boats: every vendor will benefit from any vendor’s exposure.

2. Search results. When you report your location in real time and upload your schedule, TruckAround plans to publish web pages showing which trucks are serving in each city, and when. Search engines will recognize that these pages answer searches like “food trucks near me” or “where can I get lunch”, and show people the real-time or scheduled trucks near them, based on their approximate location or the location they choose to share.

How will I know it’s working?

We plan to email you a monthly report showing diner interaction with your TruckAround profile. We intend for it to include information like how many times…

• your truck appeared on diners’ maps
• your vendor profile was viewed
• your TruckAround QR code was scanned (if you have one)
• any other measures we can share.
